Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World is one of the most beloved isekai anime of all time, and it’s currently airing its long-awaited third season. However, Crunchyroll is reportedly currently facing difficulties in making Episode 13, “The Warrior’s Commendation,” available to stream.
As reported by Crunchyroll, fans of Re: Zero Season 3 may be waiting some time to watch Episode 13 on one of the most popular anime streaming websites. The platform recently posted the following in regard to the latest installment of Subaru Natsuki’s adventures: “Due to unexpected delays, the latest episode of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World– Season 3 is behind schedule. We’re working to get it live ASAP and will update you soon. Thanks for your patience!”

Fan-Favorite Isekai Anime Re:Zero Faces Surprise Streaming Delay
Crunchyroll has previously been consistent with its release of new Re: Zero Season 3 episodes. The season began on Oct. 2, 2024, and apart from the anime’s scheduled mid-season break that lasted from Nov. 20, 2024, to Feb. 5, 2025, new episodes have been released on Crunchyroll weekly at 10.30 a.m. EST.
As of writing, no reason has been provided for the delay of Episode 13’s release. Whenever it becomes available to stream, fans will initially only be able to watch it in subbed form. The English dubbed version of “The Warrior’s Commendation” will be made available to stream in two weeks. The first 11 episodes of Re:Zero Season 3 are currently available for streaming in both subbed and dubbed on Crunchyroll, while Episode 12 can currently be watched subbed.
