Solo Leveling Season 2, Episode 10 has finally brought one of its most underutilized heroines back into the picture, with Lee Joohee seemingly ready to play a more active part in the anime series since some of the earliest episodes of the first season.
Released on Saturday, March 8, Solo Leveling Season 2, Episode 10 saw the return of Lee Joohee, teasing much more to come from the exceptional yet traumatized healer. She was last seen in any capacity in an emotional montage in Season 2, Episode 7, also featuring Song Chi-Yul, when Jinwoo’s S-Rank status was revealed to the world. With a proud yet solemn face, fans may have expected her role in the series to remain someone rooted in Jinwoo’s past, but Episode 10 teases that her and Chi-Yul’s character arcs still have room to flourish.

Solo Leveling Anime Finally Brings Lee Joohee Back Into Action

Joohee and Chi-Yul first meeting up, before being officially revealed among the defense forces, was notable for multiple reasons. Both bear vicious scars from the Double Dungeon and Kang Taeshik’s betrayal. Both continued to be saddled with guilt for leaving Jinwoo to die. Jinwoo’s ascension to S-Rank, despite being considered the weakest hunter, helped both of them overcome their fears. It’s also notable that Joohee and Chi-Yul met up in the same outfits they wore in Season 1, Episodes 7-9 (the final images seen above), almost as if to say that time really has started moving for both of them again.
Crunchyroll streams both seasons of Solo Leveling in English subbed and dubbed, describing the series: “They say whatever doesnβt kill you makes you stronger, but thatβs not the case for the worldβs weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo came back with the System, a program only he could see, thatβs leveling him up in every way. Now, heβs inspired to discover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.” The series continues to be among the most popular recent anime, nominated in Parrot Analytics’ 2024 Demand Awards and featured among MUSO’s most pirated anime of 2024 rankings.
